The desperate fascist President of the USA Trump launched an unlawful invasion of Venezuela. With Marines on the ground the U.S. has kidnapped President Maduro under false pretense of drug running. The seizure of oil tankers following the presidential pardon and release of Juan Orlando Hernández, the drug trafficking former president of Honduras, put that lie to rest. It is past time to destroy the myth that U.S. workers are patriotic saps who’ll go along to get along with our capitalists’ overseas adventures!
In competition with China for raw materials this is a warning to the semi-colonies that WWIII is a policy option, i.e. a U.S. instigated war for oil and whatever else you have under your soil! This is the action of the desperate leaders of the west and the representatives of the dying imperialisms. We look at the imperialist EU’s economic implosion, having been hung out to dry and abandoned to Russia’s sphere of influence by Trump. For Europe on its own, the only way they can go to war against China or Russia today, without going nuclear, is through proxies. For the U.S., what had been the pivot to Asia has become a worldwide confrontation with Chinese imperialism now including more hot spots in the Western hemisphere, Somaliland in horn of Africa and the Sahel in East Africa. Like Nigeria with its vast lithium and oil resources Venezuela’s resources are being targeted by Wall Street.
Trump and Rubio have opened war against the people of Latin America to break the BRICS consolidation in the Americas on behalf of big oil and the tech and crypto bros. Because the USA cannot defeat the rising industrial imperialist powerhouse of China. Trump is more friend than foe to Putin, he has expanded the slow rollout of the Trump corollary to Monroe Doctrine into Latin America but hasn’t yet put any wedge between the Russia/China bloc.
Consolidating the coup the Constitution is scrapped weekly.
Trump’s public relations gambit has scarcely worked even at home. He still faces Supreme Court scrutiny of his finances and has no more Appeals. Demonstrations against the invasion are growing by the hour. And his Epstein scandal continues without a hiccup. So Trump dispenses with authorization by Congress. We expect Venezuela will be a laboratory for measures he will seek to employ in the U.S. in pursuit of consolidating his own fascist dictatorship.
And because the the US was only part of the European invasion of the ‘new world’ that was founded on many genocides, we recognise the necessity for the working masses of the Americas today to be united to stop many more genocidesl
Therefore we call for solidarity north and south, a workers’ hemispheric united front that is a class for itself movement irrespective of the ‘national’ borders of imperial legacies.
Only the anti-imperialist mobilizations by the workers of the world can stop new wars for resources and redivision of the world’s markets.

Undeclared, illegal wars have long been U.S. practice although bi-partisan congressional approval would likely have passed. Regime change has for decades been a U.S. ruling class, bi-partisan policy. Democrats and “liberal” media lined up to celebrate Maria Corina Machado’s Nobel Peace Prize even as she praised Trump’s strikes in the Caribbean.
The UN Charter has been violated by the USA. This is neither a war for self defense nor has the UN Security Council authorized the attack. The General Secretary stated this is a “dangerous precedent.” The U.S. Constitution requires declarations of war be declared by Congress. The imperialist ruling class gave Trump the green light weeks ago by showing no significant objection to piracy, murder and the military buildup in the Caribbean.
Imperialism’s False Flags, the Historical Fantasies
All pretense to observe national or international law has long been ruling class propaganda and hype for the gullible. In 1898 when the USS Maine exploded it was used as pretext to push the Spanish-American war through which the U.S. took Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Modern consensus is that the explosion was likely caused by a spontaneous fire in a coal bunker setting off ammunition stores. In 1964 after an exchange of warning shots between USS Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin and North Vietnamese vessels, the intelligence was deliberately “skewed” as reported years later by Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and used as pretext for the “Gulf of Tonkin Resolution” which was substituted for a declaration of war against Viet Nam by L.B.Johnson.
The two wars against Iraq were also based on lies. In 1990, before the U.S. Congressional Human Rights Caucus, Nayirah al-Sabah, the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador and member of the Kuwaiti royal family, knowingly lied, fabricating the claim that babies were thrown out of incubators and left to die on the hospital floor. Ten Democrats, including Al Gore, Joe Lieberman, Harry Reid and Chuck Robb crossed the aisle assuring the war vote would win passage, green lighting the subsequent vote in congress where 32% of Democrats voted for war based on that lie. In 1992 Harpers Magazine publisher exposed the incubator story as a fraud,but by then the damage was done. Then again in 2003 the New York Times reporter Judith Miller built up the lie that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, a lie later exposed by UN arms inspectors, before the invasion and slaughter of over 500,000 Iraqis.
U.S. history is replete with false flags, fabricated justifications and cascades of propaganda designed to whip up nativist flag waving chauvinism to support imperialist wars of plunder and today’s wars against the people of Venezuela, Nigeria, and Palestine are no different. The only difference is that Trump and his cabal of parasitic crony capitalists say the secret part out loud!
