B2 in readiness to carry bunker busters on Iran nuclear sites
The current war, ostensibly between Israel and Iran, demands Marxist revolutionaries to identify the character of the war and declare their position. What caused this war and which side are we on? To begin, the war is between the USA, the dominant imperialist power in the world since WW2, using Israel as its proxy, and Iran, a capitalist semi-colony exploited and oppressed by the U.S. and its allies.
Israeli, EU and U.S. propaganda will have you believe the war is to stop Iran from getting nuclear weaponry, but the truth is far from that. The west has been losing the tug of war over Iran since 1979 as it asserts independence by associating with BRICS, Russia and China. Iran’s drive for self determination and independence threatens the U.S./EU approved Zionist plan for a Greater Israel which can only be won by force of arms, genocide and ethnic cleansing. Today the target is Gaza, the West Bank, southern Lebanon and southern Syria while some advocate for Greater Israel extending to the Euphrates, into the Sinai and deeper into Egypt. The masses of Yemen militarily defended Gaza with arms from Iran; today Israel and the U.S. mean to consolidate power by crushing Iran, Yemen and anyone who defends Palestine. Palestine remains the lynchpin of the entire region and the Arab national revolution.
Proof that this war is a U.S. imperialist war is obvious. Trump now owns this war for all to see. He backed Iran into rejecting his demand that it abandons all nuclear development. Trump demanded the evacuation of Tehran threatening U.S. bombing at any moment giving himself two weeks to decide if and when. The buildup of U.S. military assets in the region already pose an implicit threat of nuclear war and the threat of species extinction. The conventional bombing of Tehran has already begun.
Iran’s economy has been subordinated to U.S. imperialism from the overthrow of the popularly elected Mohammad Mosaddegh (1953), it faced U.S. economic sanctions against the ‘Islamic Revolution’ since it came to power after the overthrow of U.S. puppet Reza Shah Pahlavi in 1979, and the U.S. tacit support of Iraq in its 8 year war against Iran from 1980-88.
Unlike Israel which acts as an armed puppet of the U.S. in West Asia, Iran is not acting on behalf of its Imperialist allies Russia and China. It is acting in defense of its national right to self-determination. Self determination includes the right to develop nuclear energy up to and including nuclear arms.
Our defense of Iran is militarily unconditional alongside all who demand HANDS OFF IRAN! We explain that only the socialist revolution can secure and complete Iran’s national self-determination.
Iran as a sovereign nation has the right to defend itself by whatever means available to it, as an oppressed nation state this includes developing nuclear technology for energy and to defend it’s working class from imperialist aggression.
No to imperialist treaties and accords, no to IAEA, no to UN ‘solutions’!
Many years ago Iran was backed into a corner and was forced to acquiesce by the UN and liberal lefties, signing up to the non proliferation treaty (binding one arm behind its back) and allowing itself to be monitored by the imperialist oversight of the IAEA. We can’t ever support these measures as revolutionaries, they always weaken the working class ability to defend itself. Imperialism designed the UN for its own ends. The global south speaks out and the U.S. vetoes!
In such a war we are on the side of the oppressed state against the oppressor state. In short, our position is for the defeat of the USA and Israel, and for the victory of Iran. But why is such a war inevitable and why is socialist revolution necessary to turn imperialist war into revolutionary war?

Why is such a war inevitable now?
In the epoch of imperialism capital is in decline, as a mode of production it enters its final stage. Its regular crises became more frequent and severe until they finally became terminal in the early 21st century. Why? Because capitalism cannot survive the destruction of the conditions of its own existence. It cannot reproduce itself without exhausting the natural sources of raw materials and human labor necessary for profitable production. Therefore, imperialist powers can seek to delay their decline only by means of going to war against their rivals to drive down their costs of production sufficient to restore profits.
So, it follows that the war between Israel and Iran is a symptom of this inevitable decline. Israel is a colony occupying Palestine as the proxy for the U.S. in West Asia. It cannot wage a war against Iran for long by itself. It claims the war is existential but the only threat is to its Zionist colonial dream of a Greater Israel. Given its relationship as gendarme for the U.S. in West Asia that existence is not likely to be threatened except as the result of a victorious regional socialist revolution.
Permanent Revolution
On the other hand, Iran is fighting for its very existence as an independent nation state. The oppression of Iran as a semi-colony of the U.S. and UK, became an imperialist policy mainstay until its oil fields were nationalized by Mosaddech in 1953. The overthrow of his popularly elected government saw Iran revert to a semi-colony and thereafter has since been an oppressed country that must be defended from all imperialist powers East and West. Despite declaring independence in 1979, Iran’s self-determination is not yet complete and it is being punished for its national struggle.
However, we cannot exclude the character of the war changing if Russia and China get directly involved in its defense and make Iran a proxy of their wider imperialist interests. In that case the war would then become an inter-imperialist war and we would be for the defeat of both imperialist sides as a precondition for Iran’s national self-determination through permanent revolution.
U.S. and western workers must understand that Iran is an ancient civilization in which workers and peasants are oppressed by their own ruling classes. That includes the theocratic Khamenei regime. But this domestic oppression does not determine Iran’s character as an oppressed semi-colonial nation. Nor does its national regime count for anything for the Trump rightists. Their objective is regime change into a U.S. proxy with a new Shah in power to break Iran’s alliance with China and the BRICS.
So to understand why this war is being fought we have to explain why it is necessary for both sides. That will reveal why the only truly existential question today is not that of the Israel or Iranian ruling regime but it is how can imperialist wars be transformed by the working class into revolutionary wars?
Revolutionaries must fight to dispel Illusions in China and the BRICS rescuing the global south from the imperialist west which promotes bourgeois ideology in the vanguard of the working class and thus discards the lessons of Permanent Revolution. The Permanent Revolution has shown that only by making wars of national liberation anti-imperialist wars for workers’ power, can the oppressed nations defeat their imperialist overlords and achieve self-determination. In the case of Ukraine, where there is a clear inter-imperialist proxy war, the Ukrainian alliance with western imperialism must first be broken in order to unite the workers across borders and defeat Russian imperialism. For Ukraine, Iran and all semi-colonies, only the workers’ revolution can secure self determination by the victory of the Permanent Revolution.
The right to nuclear power and building nuclear deterrent/defense is inherently a right of self determination and can only be won by defeating imperialism. But the theocracy cannot win that fight because it is limited by national and economic constraints. The Iranian working class must take the lead in the fight against Zionism and Imperialism by uniting with the workers across borders in the region to build worker states independent of all imperialist states.
The U.S. can no longer compete economically with China
As we have argued this April the terminal crisis is driven by the decline of U.S. imperialism as its investment in high technology and new infrastructure to increase labor productivity has stagnated and been overtaken by China – and to a lesser extent Russia and the other trading partners of BRICS. We have shown why Trump’s desperate attempts to bully other nations into paying for the revival of U.S. profitability cannot succeed.
As the crisis deepens the prospect of war abroad and at home multiplies. This explains why the U.S. has no recourse but to rely on political threats and proxy wars to expropriate superprofits from other nations to bail out its failing economy. It and its G7 partners in NATO provoked the war in Ukraine in an attempt to break Russia’s alliance with China. Now Israel’s war against Iran follows the same logic of regime change to weaken and defeat China. It follows that both of these wars were planned to allow the U.S. and its allies to isolate and defeat China’s rise.
However, both wars are risky because the U.S. has to use proxies who have a stake in fighting wars grounded in fundamentalist lumpen national bourgeois fascist and Zionist ideologies. Thus the tails come to wag the dog on missions set to provoke direct inter-imperialist wars. In Israel, like Ukraine the dog provides logistics, intelligence and hardware. It is no coincidence Zelensky’s Operation Spider’s Web against Russia and Netanyahu’s surprise attack on Iran have the same contradictory feature – the grandiose overshoot targeting nuclear sites or assets inevitably bringing with it a severe blowback. Predictably, far from forcing imperialist Russia and theocratic Iran to negotiate their agreement to weaken China, both went into overdrive to take out the military and security infrastructure of the increasingly fascist Ukraine and the Zionist Israel. Now two major wars are draining the ol’e dog’s arsenal and political support.
U.S. and UK imperialists’ nostalgia for their ‘golden ages’ may delude their reactionary ruling classes that they are reliving a flowering of their respective empires’ glory days. All in vain, as these fantasies are now exposed in their stark reality as the neoliberal white racist right with no clothes. Historically they are passe, they are too late, their new rivals are already powering ahead economically and politically, and the decline of the West becomes more evident than ever.
Given the terminal crisis of international capital, the ruling classes have no option but to resort to fascism and turn on the working masses of the world. This proves that just as capitalism came into existence through the genocides of the ‘new world’, it will leave as the Eurocentric imperialists genocide the black and brown poor masses who are rising up across borders to meet fascism head on, armed with their just war as revolutionary class war.
USA: From Bonapartist to Fascist State
Fascism is the scourge of the highest stage of capitalism when finance capital forms monopolies to concentrate ruling class wealth and power backed by state monopoly capitalism. The imperialist states compete internationally for labor value fighting wars against their rivals to redivide the world economy to their advantage. Wars create the conditions for revolution and counter-revolution. Workers resist paying for wars with their lives and livelihoods. When armed and organized they pose a revolutionary threat to state power.
If the balance of class forces is relatively equal the ruling class attempts to buy workers off with democratic reforms under popular Bonapartist leaders who draw cross class support. If the reforms fail to stem revolution the Bonapartist regime is replaced by a counter-revolution in the state (dictatorship) which mobilizes the declassed petty bourgeoisie and lumpen workers to smash every vestige of the revolution – that regime is called fascism – the price of a failed revolution.
Fascism takes the form of the Great Leader, the overtaking of the state, the overturn of the constitution and the concentration of power in the new state executive, the Great Leader. Fascism has no real ideology of its own. It is the extreme radicalization of nationalism and racism in the service of capitalist dictatorship in extremis. It is a rationale for what they are doing which is all about monopolization of power and force. To pay the bills of their swollen state budgets and investment they embark on wars of conquest.
The long decline of the U.S. economy since the early 1970’s, de-industrialization from outsourcing, the Savings and Loan collapse, the dot com bubble, the mortgage and CDO triggers of the 2008 global financial crisis, QE1 & QE2, inflation, military spending of 19.6 Tn since 2000, all topped off with the COVID breakdown; these imploded the ability of the U.S. ruling class to sustain expected living conditions and promised social reforms.
Trump is implementing a fascist playbook that acknowledges “The Unitary Executive” concept which is the right wing plan to consolidate power to defeat once and for all the powers of the co-equal branches of government and crush the working class. This playbook is approved by significant wings of the ruling class.
The police, ICE, prison guards and elite mercenary forces have long attracted white supremacist and reactionaries of all sorts; and while AI denies ICE is recruiting from MAGA, the body art on ICE agents tells a different story. These recruits willingly disregard their oaths to uphold the constitution as they protect and serve the ruling class with brutal disregard for the rights of the population.
This situation exhausted Trump’s Bonapartist use for his original capitalist backers. The January 6th insurrection was a trial run to transform the Bonaparte into the Great Leader. Now in Trump 2.0, U.S. capital’s terminal crisis revives the neocons’ plans demanding war. Trump is moving toward fascism by concentrating state power in the executive and overriding the Constitution, ruling by executive order. For instance states of emergency which let him bypass Congress on the tariff wars, first amendment speech, free assembly, etc. all the way to an impending illegal declaration of war against Iran. In fact this should be highlighted as being the MAGA attack on the Constitution which links fascism with fascist wars. We show below the imperialist suspension of the Constitution represents a clear transition from a regular imperialist war to a fascist war.
Clear and overwhelming evidence Trump is a fascist and is in the process of building a fascist coup to create a fascist state includes: 1) extending the war on Iran without going to congress, 2) openly declaring his intention to get rid of the Constitution; in order to go to war he must control the domestic opposition, thus the ICE raids targeting migrants 3) ‘What I say is law’ rule by executive directive, 4) openly disregarding court orders because the courts can’t enforce, rulings 5) styling himself as a fascist leader by bringing absolute power around himself by deputations of MAGA luminaries to render democracy useless. In the transition from Trump 1.0 to Trump 2.0, the Bonaparte has to be replaced by the fascist. Trump is building the state to smash the working class resistance to war abroad and domestically. Notably the raids triggered resistance and the excuse for police riots, federalizing the national guard and calling in the Marines.
High Tech Fascism
We argue that fascism in the U.S. today is not the European fascism of the finance capital, uniting bank and industrial capital. The fraction of the ruling class that is dominant today is the High Tech faction of the Tech Broligarchy originating in Silicon Valley. Musk and a handful of billionaires that bought Trump the presidency. The Tech Broligarchs are the most powerful faction of the ruling class because they invest in the only remaining branch of production that is capable of increasing labor productivity and restoring capitalist growth in the U.S.. This dominance is acknowledged in so far as there is no revolt in Wall Street against Trump’s agenda though their editorial boards tremble at his tariff wars. They are the fraction of the ruling class that monopolizes chips and AI, the key new technologies that promise extreme monopoly profits globally. Musk bailing out of Tesla in the U.S. to go offshore is testimony to that!
But to maximize their profits the Tech Bros need state power to restructure capital in support of their ‘industry’. And to win power they need to destroy unproductive capital in the coming depression, and divert investment into the Hi-Tech economy. They also want to develop Crypto as a currency that does not fall prey to economic crises and currency devaluation. Crypto’s value depends on it being the measure of exchange value of High-Tech commodities as opposed to the exchange value of the U$ fiat currency that will sink along with the old de-industrialized economy. High tech becomes the new oil, and Crypto the new U$. All it requires is a central state to back Crypto in the same way it now does for the U$. China already shows the way by creating a Crypto backed by the rampant Chinese state monopoly capitalism.
In the U.S. lacking a competitive industrial economy, the Tech Broligarchy has to appropriate the state and prepare to replace the collapsing U$ with a universal Crypto. ‘Crypto’ fascism then is the seizure of power backed by the Tech Bros where the Great Leader disbands all the state power other than the executive which must now be devoted to capitalizing the High Tech Crypto economy. Meanwhile the political assassinations, unwarranted investigations, deportations without due process, disregard of judicial review, threats of arrest and blackballing signal the end of Constitutional democracy.
The Tech Bros, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Pichari, Cook, and Elison pledged fealty in lockstep with Musk and Thiel signaling the subordination of “libertarian” technology to the praxis of the unitary executive. Trump’s pardons of the January 6th insurrectionists married the lumpen petty bourgeoisie MAGAs cult of personality to the subservient tech oligarchy. Yet Trump’s cross class alliance is challenged to contain the populist interests of the Bannonite street fascists (Patriotic Front, Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, Aryan Brotherhood, KKK etc) with the fair weather oligarchs whose workers and customers are a diverse cross section of America. The tech sector workforce have expectations of constitutionally guaranteed rights and historically acquired social gains. The Broligarchy does not need war to boost their super profits, they can do that by advancing their technology but Trump is being pulled closer to the neocons who like Hitler want to mobilize the country around the war program with arms length bomber wars.
Musk was quickly spun out as his flagrant fascism exposed the fascist underbelly; doing the ruling class’s bidding with drug addled glee was rejected by the voters in Wisconsin and mass protests targeted TESLA. The contradiction of extreme nationalism and Musks’ need for an international market had to explode the marriage with Trump. The more sly yet equally sinister Stephen Miller’s ideological hand is at play. Alongside Trump and Stephen Miller others like Tucker Carlson are mainstreaming the “great replacement theory” which acts as red meat for the MAGA/MAWA base. Scapegoating immigrants as criminals since riding down the escalator in 2015, Trump’s target has always been accelerating the war on all immigrants of color.
Of course this maneuver has always been pure propaganda committed by virulent racists on behalf of big finance capital. All finance capital is on side with the Tech faction which is making its play for power. The big capitalists alone are responsible for the decay and rot in the USA. It was the big Wall Street firms which closed and outsourced industry to the Global South in search of low wages, lax labor and environmental laws. The promises to the working class of enjoying super-profits brought home via domination of the third world vanished alongside the industrial and manufacturing base. The anti-immigrant racism is the deflection to displace the populist anger away from impulses towards internationalist and working class solidarity and into the arms of nationalist chauvinism, autarchy, and white privilege. This move to outlaw workers civil rights and unleash military rule proves the object of the regime is to smash workers resistance. This is heading for a full on fascist regime and civil war.
The courts are neutered not solely because the wheels of justice move slowly but because the Unitary Executive ignores or re-interprets court orders flagrantly. ICE raids are used to trigger community response and media optics sufficient to Federalize the national guard and unleash military on the streets to deny the rights of assembly and free speech. Judges, mayors, city council people and even U.S. Senators are manhandled and arrested with flagrant disregard for due process. Undocumented workers, many already working with the immigration court system, are being rounded up and deported by the hundreds of thousands without regard to their rights or due process. Those who stand up for them, just as those who stood up for Palestine are attacked as the regime builds optics for declaration of martial law threatening to use the insurrection act to further consolidate power.
The MAGA split between the isolationists and the neocons had Trump declare “I came up with the term America First so I decide what America First means.” Everyone, even Marjorie Taylor Green must toe the line as America First today requires overt and covert support for the Israel war on Iran and tomorrow will likely require direct support. The MAGA isolationists oppose the war but will not challenge Trump. He makes war circumventing congress, and any attempt to require the state to endorse his decision shows how he is asserting his right to assume power as the Great Leader. And the ruling class consensus is falling in line. Ever obsequious the so called centrist corporate media join in lockstep echoing the rhetoric of “Israel’s right to self defense” as justification for the preemptive strikes on Iran.
This consensus building accomplished when Trump transitions to opening the third front against China there will be no opposition in the corporate media and the China Hawks in the Democratic leadership are already on board. Leaving behind democracy as a Bonapartist is shown by disregarding any consensus building with the isolationists who must join the drive to war against Iran and China or be driven from MAGA.
The workers fight for power in every defensive action against Trump’s attacks:
The class struggle is becoming visible as the working class has taken to the streets to defend migrants, and sustained Palestine Solidarity movements despite the crackdown. The working class is waking up and taking the stage of history as a potentially self conscious class.
An effective opposition to fascism and war can only come from the masses of working people and their allies taking action in the workplaces, communities, schools and streets.

The working class in the U.S. is not silent in the face of the ruling class offensive led by the fascist Trump/Miller cabal of anti-democratic criminal grifters, con men and opportunists. Waves of protests against the rising fascist regime are escalating. The defense of immigrants has been building in the communities and is exploding into confrontations in the urban centers as ICE targets hard working people and their families. Spontaneous mobilizations quickly grew to massive outpourings of the multi-ethnic working class. The unions are present but not yet playing the leading role in the defensive mobilizations; these are grass roots networks of workers and activists as well as families and communities immediately responding to the masked Gestapo type arrests. The mass solidarity mobilizations in early June reflected the internationalist interpenetration of the immigrant rights movement and the Palestine solidarity movement.
Those working class mobilizations stand in stark contrast to broader based “No Kings” mobilizations of June 14th where 5 million responded to the call, many hoping beyond hope to reclaim the American Flag from MAGA and Trump. While millions are mobilizing against Trump the overwhelming mass are still trapped under the delusion that the Democrats pose a democratic alternative to the rising fascism. The reformist marches are a reflection of lingering illusions which have to be overcome to confront the rising fascism.
Our dialectical materialist analysis (linked and above) explains why bourgeois democracy has been discarded, that the Democrats merely paved the path to fascism and now look meekly to the neutered courts and 2026 elections. In the interim they contain the masses’ anger with mass mobilizations that let off steam but do not pose any real challenge to the bosses and big imperialist capital. This is now the existing objective reality that must be overcome by the struggle to educate and unite through struggle all sections of the working class.
“The socialist revolution in Europe cannot be anything other than an outburst of mass struggle on the part of all and sundry oppressed and discontented elements. Inevitably, sections of the petty bourgeoisie and of the backward workers will participate in it – without such participation, mass struggle is impossible, without it no revolution is possible – and just as inevitably will they bring into the movement their prejudices, their reactionary fantasies, their weaknesses slid errors. But objectively they will attack capital, and the class-conscious vanguard of the revolution, the advanced proletariat, expressing this objective truth of a variegated and discordant, motley and outwardly fragmented, mass struggle, will be able to unite and direct it, capture power, seize the banks, expropriate the trusts which all hate (though for different reasons!), and introduce other dictatorial measures which in their totality will amount to the overthrow of the bourgeoisie and the victory of socialism, which, however, will by no means immediately ‘purge’ itself of petty-bourgeois slag.”
– Lenin, 1916

Winning The fight against the rising fascist power by building Workers Power!
The working class becomes self conscious of its power the more we self organize from the shop floor up. Every discussion that leads to workers meetings and discussions of class struggle methods and political independence is a step from powerlessness to power. All the fascists as well as the liberal imperialists must be and can only be defeated by the growth of the workers political independence and the consolidation of a mass revolutionary workers party. To defeat the fascist attacks on our community workers must unite in building Labor, Black and Brown class wide self defense guards. The spontaneous and network defense in L.A. and other cities can serve as the basis for building organized, trained and disciplined self defense guards. This will become most effective when built directly by the trade unions.
Despite the class collaborationist leadership which ties our unions to the imperialist state, the membership, still largely under the leadership’s sway, are breaking out in spontaneous protest. The children of Occupy had to get jobs and are building families now. While defeated in the streets by Obama’s Democratic Mayors and the FBI most were not won by the anarchists or communists. The inertia in the vacuum of leadership led invariably back to the Democratic Party and Democratic Party controlled unions. An undercurrent of class militancy builds on the shop floor as all the contradictions expose themselves in the face of youth cognizant of the exploitation and oppression of imperialism and patriarchy as well as the role of the Democratic Party in sustaining both.
Under Trump the tariff wars, inflation, unemployment, DOGE cuts in government jobs, social services and the economic situation explodes. The contradictions of trade union subordination to the capitalist Democrats must explode into a moment of opportunity to build the fighting workers labor party. We say it can only come from shop floor and class wide struggle against the bureaucracy and for Workers Power. Yet today there are waves of young militants and socialists being radicalized by the genocide in Gaza who still have illusions in the Democratic Party; that can rapidly change. It will take a revolutionary workers party to push every shop floor struggle over conditions and wages to the logical necessity of Worker’s Control of the commanding heights of the economy and workers self management on the shop floor across the economy.
We support every working class united front effort to fight for every working class democratic and economic demand from the most minimal to the most complex and show how they can be won by building class political independence in a struggle to turn our unions into schools of revolution. It is a quick step in the consciousness from building class struggle trade union defense of immigrants and Palestine to building class political independence. Today more than ever our unions must become independent to defeat the fascists in the White House, their organized packs and lone wolves on the streets as well as the illegally deployed forces of the state!
Taking the unions out of complacency and into political action requires a total break of the rank and file from the union bureaucracy and the Democrats. The militant and organizing youth must rise up a new fighting leadership preparing the founding of the workers party and drawing out the lessons of every class struggle. Workers will smash anti-labor laws in action. We will smash the bureaucracy hiding behind anti-labor laws like Taft Hartley which makes solidarity strikes, and general strikes illegal. As consciousness grows every strike will become a school for revolution, where indefinite strikes and solidarity strikes will defeat the fascist goons’ attacks on independent working class action leading to revolutionary power.
For The Workers United Front against War and Fascism
The working class must turn the fascist war drive abroad and the defensive street actions at home into class war against the ruling capitalist class. Our method is the working class led United Front of workers and all our class independent organizations. The task of the United Front is to mobilize the Working Class in direct strike actions, the establishment of strike committees in every workplace, industrial center in every city and town. The united front must agree on when and where to strike, and must ensure democratic rights and united defense of all working class participants.
“No common platform with the Social Democracy, or with the leaders of the German trade unions, no common publications, banners, placards! March separately, but strike together! Agree only how to strike, whom to strike, and when to strike! Such an agreement can be concluded even with the devil himself, with his grandmother, and even with Noske and Grezesinsky. [5] On one condition, not to bind one’s hands.” – For a Workers’ United Front Against Fascism Leon Trotsky (December 1931)
At the work sites, job site shopwide committees must override artificial separations in our unions to unite all workers in action. Strike committees against fascism and war must be convened to unite the entire multi-ethnic, multi racial working class including immigrants documented and undocumented.
Uniting the organized and unorganized workers in the United Front will accelerate the growth of workers organizations. Immigrants, undocumented, disabled and retired workers must be welcomed into our unions with full rights and benefits! New militant leaderships must replace the statized unions, smash the entrenched bureaucracies so new unions can emerge where none exist and wherever class collaborators block the fight against the war and fascism. The working masses when mobilized will demand, of themselves, effective means of struggle where our organizations, unions, strike committee’s can come together to convene democratic Worker’s Councils which organize the class actions.
The workers United Front must fight for:
Hands off Iran! Free Palestine! End the Genocide! No war with China! For a New Zimmerwald to build a new International!
We need a new international Zimmerwald movement to organize and mobilize the left to take actions like the dockers in Marseilles which block military shipments to Israel!
Defeat the attacks on democratic rights!
For international Labor defense of academic freedom and Free Palestine activists and actions! Defend due process, habeas corpus, free speech, freedom of assembly, the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects! Enforce the separation of Church and State! Restore women’s right to choose! Restore student protesters’ matriculations and earned degrees! Rehire educators fired for advocacy! Free All Class War Prisoners! Free immigrant activists and workers detained by ICE. Return Guantanamo to Cuba!
Hot cargo military goods and block military shipments at the ports and airports.
Dockers, ILWU, ILA, IAM take the lead! Shut the ports and air bases with general strike against war, mass marches and occupations! Smash anti-labor laws by mass strike action!
Soldiers don’t fight the rich man’s wars!
Organize rank and file unions, elect your own officers; turn your guns around! Support the workers not Wall St.. Not one penny for imperialism and fascist war! Fully fund veterans care! Defund the Military Industrial Complex!
Unions to organize the unorganized!
No immigrant worker is illegal! Crush the ICE raids with labor defense squads!
Bring unemployed, retirees, disabled workers and undocumented workers into the unions!
Break from the Democrats to build a fighting workers labor party!
Smash the tariff, trade and currency wars.
For international working class cooperation not isolation! Jobs for All at prevailing wages with benefits, pensions, medical care, housing, education and childcare as a right! End unemployment by shortening the workweek with no cut in pay! End inflation by taking prices and wages under workers control! Expropriate the commanding heights of the economy when they refuse to comply!
Build Labor, Black and Brown self defense guards in every union and workers community!
Defend every strike and demonstration from the fascist goons, the police, FBI and the state!
Drive fascist goon squads off the streets! Smash the ICE raids! Liberate the detention centers!
For the workers to live capitalism must die!
What we see clearly is that imperialism world-wide is facing its terminal decline, but it does so unevenly. In the Western Euro bloc the decline is essentially the failure to produce and reproduce value and so it demands tribute or rent from the non-Western world. Yet it cannot arrest its decline without triggering further degeneration of the forces of production in nature which means that capitalism in its death agony will destroy humanity with it. The Eastern Eurasian bloc may yet avoid nuclear war, and produce a growth of the forces of production in the Global Majority for a short period. More peasants will become wage workers and many will be raised into the middle class. But more workers do not in themselves become a revolutionary force. There will be no escaping human extinction without a socialist revolution. Qualitatively workers’ consciousness must rise to the objective reality that capitalism is at its dead end, and that for the world’s workers to live their task is to put it out of its misery and dig its grave.
Fight for a Workers Government to enforce the program of the United Front!
Build a New International with Revolutionary workers parties in every nation based on the method of the 1938 Transitional Program!
