Build the International Anti-Fascist Workers United Front for Socialist Revolution!

Break the chains of bourgeois ideological dominance!

Build the International Anti-Fascist Workers United Front for Socialist Revolution!

“We know from the global situation and the moment we are in, that the U.S. is facing terminal crisis leads the world counter-revolution with the Gaza genocide, the continuation of the genocide that gave birth to it, and now resists its destruction with the Trump fascist coup. The contradiction between labor and capital explodes in inter-imperialist wars between the U.S. in decline and China which is on the rise. This is what determines the events of the moment and their trajectory.

The U.S. is suffering defeats on all fronts in its economic and military adventures. It has failed in its war with Russia and Iran, and has to postpone its war with China. Such are these defeats, the U.S. now turns its attention back to the Americas to protect its ‘back yard’ from China and the BRICS by going to war against Venezuela and Colombia for regime change.

Everywhere bourgeois democracy is being smashed, and fascist regimes move to take its place, openly posing the question of which class rules. Only the popular front survives to disarm workers and poor farmers. The way out is clearly for international workers united fronts led by revolutionary Trotskyists to build general strikes to smash fascism, overthrow capitalism and open the road to socialist revolution.” (letter from Comrade Dave of the International Leninist Trotskyist Tendency in the South Pacific)

Comrade Sergio in Latin America responded:

“The process of fascistization is accelerating, but it also continues the process of popular uprisings in semi-colonies, now in Asia and Africa as in Latin America years ago. This demonstrates the potential of revolution, provided a direction can be forged, overcoming spontaneity and the popular front-electoralist trap. Today’s pseudo-leftist bureaucracies are the Capitalist State’s last line of political resistance, but they rely on bourgeois ideological dominance among the masses to defend their own existence.”

Today the workers have no choice but to defend our class from being decimated. Our bread and butter are being stolen by the oligarchs of capital who would have us starve as they exploit our labor power, devalue our wages with inflation, and loot the treasury in a thousand ways.

We credit the workers with their instinctual dialectic to defend their rights and needs which gives them the muscle to fight and is manifest in every organized and spontaneous physical altercation with ICE, the fascist goons; and is seen in every step the masses take towards strike action and the general strike for workers power!

Now, in the aftermath of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis when the Trump tariffs trigger and deepen the current stagflationary recession  we still have to consider two operations. In 2008 the crisis was caused by fictitious capital’s inability to  support the price of collateralized debt obligations so the hedge funds were free to grab the (profits or wealth of the) world output for two years, supported by Obama and the central banks while production collapsed in the west. It was  China’s entrance to the WTO in 2001 that sustained the world market with its growing industrial base.  Few at that time could see the emergence of China as an imperialist competitor.  Now as the West is in terminal crisis we have  a different story; now China is eating the U.S. lunch!

Nobody buys anything the U.S. has to sell (it had a $1.37 trillion dollar deficit YOY July ‘24-’25),  they buy from China which can give a better deal on everything!  China’s power comes not only from the legacy institutions and organization of the former bureaucratized workers’ state but from  uneven and combined development, the investment into new technology in industry employing millions of proletarians creating use values while the logic of falling profits drove the  U.S. to disinvest from production to invest in fictitious capital. The dying empire spirals down as fictitious capital is destroyed while the rising Chinese imperialism produces commodities that dominate the market, forcing the semicolonial world to abandon the dying empire for its more productive successor!

This explains Argentina. The Trump bailout was an insider trading con from start to finish. U.S. finance capital, greedy for the 20% bond return promised by Argentina got caught in the squeeze as Milei’s chainsaw austerity and inflation burst the bubble the hedge funds have bet on! The $40 billion being sold as a rescue for Argentina will not serve the starving workers and poor. It taxes the U.S. workers to pay Argentina’s foreign debt to the big banks!  We say expropriate the bail out, repudiate the foreign debt! Feed the people not the bankers!

Today the majority of the ‘left’ across the hemisphere expose themselves as the class enemy,  blocking the workers path to political self-organization and self-defense. Its pushing of parliamentary reforms is now being stripped bare like the emperor’s clothes as Trump’s promises for peace and MAGA dissolve with the collapsing U.S. economy and rising fascism. The same process is seen in every attempt to suck workers into the popular front with the national bourgeoisies throughout the Americas.

We say break with the national bourgeoisie! In Argentina we say down with the Peronists! In Brazil we say break from the Workers’ Party to break from the bourgeois government! In the U.S. we say break from the Democratic Party which is the embodiment of the popular front Party!

“In France the Popular Front took shape as the union on a reformist program of the working-class parties with the great ‘middle-class’ Radical-Socialist Party. There were no such parties in the United States, but the same social forces nevertheless operated under similar conditions, and the United States equivalent of the Popular Front was simply the New Deal Roosevelt Democratic Party.” —“Editor’s Comments,” New International, December, 1938

We say break with all the misleaders of the workers: Anarchists, trade union bureaucrats and fake socialists of all kinds! Fight for worker’s democracy in the unions and for a militant Workers/Labor Party as the voice of the organized workers!

NYC comptroller  Brad Lander, a supporter of Zohran Mamdani, leads the call for popular front electoralism.  November 5th  on Pacifica’s Democracy Now he explains:

“…we need a party that is broad. It’s got to include the moderates. And when they win primaries in the right seats where they’re representing their constituents then, of course, we’ll go support them. But when progressive candidates like Zohran win, then moderates have got to support them, as well. That’s the only way we can build a popular front (editor emphasis) that’s going to be sufficient to stand up to this authoritarian president.”

This is the popular front program of the DSA which attempts to tie workers’ hands in the face of rising fascism allowing the state to call the Anti-fascists terrorists and fascists “authoritarians!”  It is the Popular Front mayors who make alliances with the Police and courts  who they rely on  to reign in the ‘excesses’ of  the fascist ICE while allowing them to “act legally!” We call up the workers  United Front to break the Popular Front!  Our whole thrust must be armed workers’ defense to fight fascism and win the workers from the popular front to class struggle for international socialist revolution.

As we said in October, “…the evidence is that the fascist coup is consolidating and expanding executive power to directly download the crisis onto the working class. The coup’s purpose is to declare and enter new wars, and suppress resistance including the shut down of Congress and the deployment of the military against all domestic resistance.”

While the left has been working overtime to call for votes to stop Trump, the right has been organizing thousands of armed fascist groups across the Americas and in Europe.  Now in the U.S. they are  the recruitment base for Trump’s Gestapo ICE army. These masked fascists  daily attack workers in our communities and workplaces while the popular frontists rely on courts and swoon over their electoral prospects for November 2026.

From Southern Poverty Law Center  Fascist militia foreshadow ICE recruitment drive arming Trump’s private army!

Our immediate task is to unite all workers organizations to turn the instinctual dialectic of the working masses into independent class political action. The vehicle must be the non-sectarian workers United Front based on worker’s democracy.  The united front seeks to convene mass assemblies of all workers in the struggle, union and non-union, students, parents and the elderly!  All working class people must be drawn into action committees in the workplaces, the schools, and communities.  Worker’s democracy enables each worker’s organization to strike together while retaining the right to  march under their own banner and program.  Our actions  are united behind the workers’ self-defense against the fascists and the state, the fight for a mass fighting workers/labor party and for the indefinite General Strike to defeat fascism, its root cause–capitalism–and imperialist wars by establishing a workers government.

Build the workers united front! AND…,

Build the revolutionary workers party in every country and found a new workers international based on the method of the 1938 Transitional program!
